Job.com's New Mobile Platform Makes it a Win-Win for Employers and Job Seekers
Job.com, a leader in the online recruitment world, announced today the launch of the career site's new mobile platform. The current release of Job.com's mobile experience (m.job.com), is the first phase of Job.com's product strategy to bring innovation to mobile job searching.
Just in the last two years, mobile visits to Job.com have more than doubled1, bringing attention to the impact of mobile recruiting on the employment industry. In response, the Job.com team has introduced a product that benefits users from the perspectives of those looking for jobs, and those looking to fill jobs. Currently, over 20 percent of Job.com's five million unique monthly visitors2 originate from a mobile device and the numbers continue to grow.

When visitors arrive to Job.com's mobile site, they will now be greeted by a sleek, yet simple job search experience followed by a list of the top five companies hiring near the user's location. This placement presents an immense amount of opportunity for Job.com's employers looking to gain added exposure from the two million3, plus visitors actively coming to Job.com from a mobile device.
"With so much of our traffic coming from mobile these days, it's crucial that we provide a targeted and easy-to-use job search experience for our job seekers," said Alden. "By showcasing company jobs directly on the homepage, job seekers can quickly access opportunities close to them, while delivering local talent to the employers."
Returning Job.com members who have opted-in to receive job alerts can now log in to their mobile account to find recently posted jobs that match their search, making it convenient to identify the jobs most relevant to them.
From localized targeting, to an array of mobile-friendly features, Job.com's mobile platform is set up to improve the results of a job seeker's search while driving more qualified applicants to employers.
